About Us

The Heartland Mobile Council™’s (HMC) purpose is to educate marketers and business people on how to use mobile marketing to reach their consumers and build their business/brands. We have three strategic initiatives to make this happen:

  1. The HMC Learning Center to help create and distribute educational content.  This includes:
    1. HMC Blog.  Hear from thought leaders in the mobile marketing industry: brands, authors, innovators.
    2. HMC Case Study Library.  Showcases how brand and businesses successfully use mobile marketing.  Includes real results and an evaluation by a select panel at the HMC.
  2. HMC Events will bring people together in the Heartland or online to learn from mobile marketing industry leaders.  These include:
    1. HMC Mobile University™.  This conference is an interactive, two-day educational experience.  All sessions are lead by brands with nothing to sell.  You sit with colleagues across multiple industries and hear about best practices, mistakes and successes.  It is an immersive experience with examples everywhere of how mobile impacts our every day lives.
    2. HMC Seminars.  Through workshops, meet-ups and webinars, the mobile experts of the HMC will directly educate business on mobile marketing.  Featured educators will be experts from their specific areas of mobile and/or marketing – whether it be a specific technology, industry, metrics or strategy.
  3. The HMC Website offers a one-stop location for people to educate themselves on mobile marketing education and insights.  It will provide information on events, access to content and the HMC position on what is relevant to marketers today.  We know there’s a lot happening with mobile technologies, but we provide just the aspects that you need to know in order to grow your business and brands.
