The HMC Vision

The vision of the Heartland Mobile Council™ is to be recognized as the conduit for all mobile marketing education.  We interpret how mobile technologies can be used as a way to move the business/brand forward for both B2C (consumer brands) and B2B (enterprise, SMBs) companies.  Eventually, every business will use mobile as part of their marketing strategy.  This new mass medium will be an acknowledged marketing channel much like TV, radio, print, in-store and the Internet.

As a result, Chicago will become a Center of Excellence on the marketing of mobile technologies.  It will be the go-to location for anyone interested in learning how to reach/market to their consumers through their mobile phones.  The epicenters of mobile technology may stay in San Francisco and Boston, but the center of leadership in mobile marketing will be in Chicago – in the Heartland of America.
